Brooke And A Greasy Mess

Brooke was my step daughter in my past life. She is such a cute girl, and she has a great personality too. I haven't really seen her since her dad and I got a divorce 4 years ago. It was great to see her today. Her mom brought her over with her other siblings. We got to hang out all day. It was so much fun. I really enjoyed visiting with everyone. Garryn really took a liking to Brooke. He is such a flirt. Too bad they live in Utah or we could do it more often. Thank you Linda for bringing everyone over.

After everyone left Warren decided to break out the Bag Balm and have a party. I didn't even notice till he started blowing raspberries trying to get the Bag Balm off his tongue. He was covered from head to toe. He also got it all over my carpet. Good thing the carpet is already totally gross. We gave him a bath, but he is still really greasy and I keep hearing him spitting in his sleep. I guess he will be tasting Bag Balm for a while.

Goose Egg

Jayson and I were making our bed, and Jayson tried to get a sheet away from Warren, who slipped and hit his head on the column on our bed. When Warren started crying, my sweet husband told him " stop faking it, I know you didn't hit your head that hard". Anyway about 20 minutes later while I was sitting on the bed I noticed Warren had developed a huge goose egg on his forehead. I think Jayson felt pretty bad for dismissing his pain the way he did. The funny thing is Warren stopped crying after Jayson told him to stop faking it. I guess he isn't too young, to feel he has to be tough.

Warren hates to go to sleep, so he usually just crashes in the middle of what he is doing. He usually will fall asleep while eating since he has to sit in a chair and can't run around to distract himself. If he doesn't fall asleep while in his highchair then he will run around being supper naughty to keep his mind off the fact that he is exhausted. What a TURD!

I love books

I just got these books in the mail last week. I can't put them down. I especially love the SEW U book. I daydream about making myself a cool new wardrobe with stuff that looks like I bought if from Anthropologie. I don't know if it will ever happen. Maybe I need to get my craft room under control first.

This is what happens when you leave Devon in Charge

Warren went for a treasure hunt in his diaper and required a bath. It is always fun in my tub because the jets turn it into bubbles galore. Luckily the kids cleaned up before I got home. I didn't even know it happened till I saw Devon looking at the photo's.
